Send messages to devices

The Push message to devices box enables you to send broadcast messages to all the devices that are enabled to receive broadcast messages.

About this task

When you send a broadcast message, the message is displayed on your device whether or not you are logged on to the application.

Procedure

  1. Type the message text in the Push message to devices box.
  2. Ensure all devices that must receive the messages are selected in the Announcements column.
  3. Click Send Message. The message is sent to all devices enabled to receive broadcast messages.

Results

Note: Users that have their iOS device settings for notification turned off will not receive broadcast messages.
